A school in Kerala has introduced India’s maiden AI teacher robot, aptly named ‘Iris’. dressed in a saree, Iris, developed in collaboration with Makerlabs Edutech, is set to redefine traditional teaching methods with its cutting-edge features and personalized learning experiences.

Housed within the premises of KTCT Higher Secondary School in Thiruvanathpuram, Iris marks a groundbreaking initiative under the Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) project, championed by NITI Aayog. This technological marvel boasts an array of features aimed at revolutionizing the pedagogical landscape.

According to its developers, Iris is more than just a robot; it’s a futuristic companion equipped with an in-built voice assistant and powered by an Intel chipset.
