A recent internal study conducted by Is Healthy highlights a growing preference among Indian consumers for phone-based pharmacy support over app-based ordering. The findings show that users feel more confident, guided, and secure when interacting with a human representative during their medicine purchase process.
Is Healthy reports that the trend is not limited to senior citizens. Even younger users, particularly those facing urgent medicine requirements or complex doctor prescriptions, find phone support more trustworthy and efficient.
The study further reveals widespread usage of Is Healthy’s phone-based service across multiple states, including Maharashtra, Karnataka, Delhi NCR, Gujarat, and Uttar Pradesh. The company has been witnessing rising engagement from both metropolitan and non-metro regions, suggesting a nationwide shift toward simpler and more human-driven healthcare assistance.
Industry experts believe that this shift could signal a broader change in the digital health sector, where hybrid models—combining technology with human support—deliver superior user experiences.
