Freshworks: Bootstrapped by Girish and Shan changed the outlook of businesses by their SaaS company!

Freshworks is the creation of Girish Mathurubootham, Shan Krishnasamy and Vijay Shankar who bootstrapped this Chennai based tech company in 2010 after quitting a stressful situation at their previous job.

While tackling that situation, they came up with Freshdesks as a premium customer service management platform which was renamed Freshworks in 2017.

Now with a primary aim to provide improved and succeeding value resulting solutions to companies by building and refreshing business software that won’t weigh down and are efficient as well as hassle free, Girish Mathurubootham and his partners created Freshworks with Freshmarketer, Freshsales, and Freshdesk as some of its core products bundles into a package.

Their platform was a major success and this led them to achieve their aim while building a strong business that earns a revenue of $114.6 million today. What started as a discussion among three friends building a platform, with just six employees initially, is now a million dollar worth business company helping others build their business through Freshworks’ wide range of services for all small and big businesses. To scale, they have worked with and bootstrapped more than 2,500 startups and work with more than 170 unicorns globally.
