Dr. Vikas Divyakirti is an entrepreneur who is the founder, trainer, and managing director of Drishti IAS. Drishti IAS is a premium UPSC coaching institute and one of most famous for IAS coaching in India that has taught and prepared thousands of students in their facility as IAS, IPS, and IFS officers, since 1999.
Dr. Divyakirti belongs to a middle-class family in Haryana and after consuming his primary education in his hometown, he did his Bachelors in History from the University of delhi. He continued his Masters from Delhi University in Hindi Literature and Sociology. Furthermore, he holds degrees in M.phil, LLB, and a Ph.D as well.
In 1996, as a UPSC aspirant himself, he appeared for the UPSC Civil Services Exam (CSE) and cracked it in his one single attempt. He was assigned as an IAS officer in the ministry of Home Affairs, but when you know and realise your true calling, that becomes the turning point in one’s life. However, Dr, Divyakirti’s extensive and easily grabbing vrillance in his work did not settle him and he wanted to do more for the community by teaching. Vikas left his IAS position and started as a teacher in Delhi University.
He also started a youtube channel where he initially talked and created content about varied topics of general interest such as literature, science, philosophy, religion, geopolitics and especially, civil service examinations.
He started growing and getting recognition from various aspirants and soon enough, Dr.Vikas Divyakirti changed the lives of many aspirants when he opened his coaching institute ‘Drishti IAS’, the path to success for UPSC training in the year 1999.
Currently, his youtube channel has over 10 million subscribers and views that made him viral for his rich content and brilliant teaching, managed by his team and himself. Drishti IAS has one of the best employed teaching staff of 175 employees and an annual turnover of $8.3 Million.
